Celebrating National 4-H Week: Lessons in Leadership, Confidence, and Community 🍀

This week is National 4-H Week, and this one is personal for me.

I am proud to be a 4-H alum, and I come from a 4-H family. In fact, I am third generation 4-H, and I hope that one day my daughter will be part of that tradition too.

4-H is so much more than projects, fairs, ribbons, and record books. It teaches responsibility, confidence, hard work, leadership, public speaking, community service, and the courage to try something new.

For me, 4-H was probably one of the first places where I started building confidence in myself. It helped me learn how to speak in front of others, how to take ownership of my work, and how to keep showing up even when something felt intimidating. Looking back, I truly believe 4-H helped light the beginning of the path that brought me to where I am today.

So this week, I am celebrating National 4-H Week with gratitude for the lessons, memories, family tradition, and lifelong impact of an organization that means so much to me.

To the 4-H members, families, volunteers, leaders, and alumni: Happy National 4-H Week! 🍀
